Application Review of the day ;)

For all those who are using windows 8 and are fond of sketching but a little tired of the old methods to do so should really try out “Inspiration” for it is really good.
Of course it does not give you as good result as the old methods but for those who are not good at shading will find it very fascinating. I used this app myself and I really enjoy using it.
But like any other application you might find a few flaws init.. for instance it does not have much options. If you want to draw a straight line or any other shape, you have to make it with your finger, app, does not give you such an option.

Similarly, the shade might drop at places where you don’t want it to be. But the other options are really good.Give it a try J
I have sketched a few using this app. have a look

"Teacher"

Today, It was My English Language’s Exam . In the creative writing section, we were given choices to either write a story, A persuasive essay, argumentative essay, or a one word essay on “Teachers”.. Let me be honest, I had no idea about others but I chose to write on teachers but I am sure very few people tend to think in the way I do….

In my opening paragraph I wrote the common perception of the people  towards teachers.. whenever the hear the word teachers, the very first thing that comes into their minds is a physical character  which could be a school teacher, mother, father, sister or any elderly person in the family

In the second paragraph I wrote the teachings of the teachers. For instance a mother is said to be the first institution in a child’s life. A school teacher teaches us with literal knowledge etc.  and makes a child worthy enough to compete in the world,  other teachers might teach you manners etc. but do ever stop by and realize that we are underestimating the greatest teacher in our lives who is with us since the very second of our birth till the very second of our death, “TIME”.

Indeed time is the greatest, honest and sincerest teacher we have… We tend to make mistakes and we realize those mistakes only when time brings forth the consequences and compels us to bear the consequences. It is one priceless teacher who offers free of cost honest teachings which are not offered by any other institution and therefore we should catch hold of it and take advantage of every other lesson it brings forth for us.

I should start BLOGGING ACTUALLY!

Hey everybody, well I was just lying on my bed this afternoon and realized that although I do blog, I don't really BLOG ... so there you go, I have decided to blog everything about my life, for instance events I visit, people I meet, problems I face, solutions I find and work I do and yeah will especially take pictures to show u all the events i visit and the people i meet....
Well since i missed a lot to tell you, lemme just start it from Microsoft wowzapp 2012.
This was a Hackathon held in Karachi at UIT (Usman Institute of Technology ) where programmers were supposed to develop windows 8 application(s) .... whoa it was an amazing experience, I was volunteering there although did not work much but observed people and played chess with Anas Kidwai,
Project Manager at Microsoft and yes how can i forget, I made really very good and awesome friends,
Jibran Elahi, Ozair belal who are Microsoft Student partners  (MSP) and Sana Kainat.
Altogether it was a really good experience although i repent for not submitting an application of my own :( but its never too late...
Then my exams started, and i was busy with them. On the last day of my exam, I was invited to the Microsoft community meetup at ARENA where TAHIR MASOOD, DPE at Microsoft conducted the first session telling us about how Microsoft has worked and will work in the future. Then it was further taken over by MR Zia Ullah khan who is an MVP; he told us about the strength  and scope of Windows 8 development and it was quite informative and comic indeed as he is used to cracking jokes in between to make the session interesting and interactive. Later MR Asad Ullah Chaudhry joined us, who is my teacher and then of course :P "Refreshment".
Later we all got coupons to play any one game at Arena, Me and my friends decided to go for bowling although I was not successful at doing it even once and had to pass my turn to someone else :D ..
Then we all had to say goodbye to each other heading towards another good day :)

Well telling you more, I was invited at my Old show, DUM DUM DEE DEE as a guest as they were celebrating the 75th episode and obviously how can they ever celebrate it without me and my sister ANIQA ADIL, hosts of 52 episodes, it was fun, KHALED ANUM and i sung together and recalled the old memories of the show.....

Let go good for nothing for the best.

At each and every stage of our lives, we are compelled to Choose between right and wrong and which ever path we choose, leads us towards another road acquiring choices. This is perpetual till we die.
A couple of weeks back, I was enjoying bonfire with my family, my aunt has a one year old baby; all were busy in singing and talking while I was sitting and observing the baby....
The baby seemed quit attracted towards the fire because of the blaze and  light it had.... well obviously what do u expect from a one kid other than trying to hold the fire in his hand and put it in his mouth. Well obviously the baby did not know how harmful and destructive the fire could be.
It can turn everything into ashes till wherever is its approach. So bringing this into our own lives,
every now and then we have to experience such a fire. We are kids, we don't know how destructive and killing it can be but we need to visualize our goals and our destination and evaluate if that particular fire will be able to light your candle or burn your hand while lighting the candle as I had discussed this point in my previous blog post .
If you are able to identify extremely valuable unprocessed diamond or a simple invaluable rock, you make most of your ability. This is I guess the biggest mistake we make in our lives, we usually advance towards the fire and hold back from opportunities because we are unable to analyse and identify. Therefore when it comes to drawing a conclusion out of the matter discussed above, we should serve some of our prestigious time in seeing whether the thing we are advancing towards is valuable for us.
For instances u may be able to evaluate on the basis of these questions which i usually ask myself NOW, Previously i was one of many who used to make the same
mistake of not identifying and making use of opportunities.
Questions:
1) Is it helping me in any area of my life?
2) If yes, then how?
3) are the advantages more than the disadvantages?
4)  will it give me a long term benefit?
5) Will it give me an output?
6) Is it going to have any bad mark on my personality?
and so on but make sure you ask questions, if you do, you will be able to make most of your time and save it from wasting if you would have been able to identify its draw bags and this activity will help you in evaluating your standing, present and future.
